What This Service Includes
This flat-fee service provides an attorney review of your commercial lease and a written summary of key business terms and legal risk areas. We identify material issues, unusual or one-sided provisions, and common problem clauses, and we provide written, plain-English feedback to help you understand what you are being asked to sign.
The service also includes up to thirty minutes of consultation time, if requested, to review the written feedback and answer questions about the issues identified. The purpose of this service is to give you clear, practical insight into the lease so you can make an informed decision before signing.
How It Works
After you engage us, you will deliver the draft lease and any related documents. We will review the lease and prepare a written summary and risk-focused feedback. If you request it, we will schedule a single consultation of up to thirty minutes to walk through the written feedback and answer questions.
This service is limited to the written review and the optional thirty-minute consultation. There is no ongoing discussion, follow-up review, or additional consultation included beyond that scope.
What This Service Does Not Include
This service does not include drafting or revising the lease, proposing edits, negotiating with the other party, communicating with anyone other than you, or providing ongoing advice beyond the written feedback and the optional thirty-minute consultation. It also does not include due diligence, transaction management, deal coordination, or representation in negotiations or disputes.
If you want document revisions, negotiations, or expanded involvement, that would require a separate engagement.
